The Jeep Recon is an all-electric SUV available in the Moab trim. The Moab has two electric motors one in the front and one in the rear. Combined output peaks at an impressive 650 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque, and it is transferred to all four wheels. Its impressive power allows it to shoot to 60 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds, only about 0.2 seconds slower than the Wagoneer S. The Recon is not only meant for speed but also meant to excel in off-road or tough terrain. The Recon is equipped with an independent suspension with a 9-inch lift kit and 18-inch tires, it comes with Select-Terrain system which gives the driver access to five settings starting with auto, sand, rock, snow, and sport, giving the owner the versatility and freedom to tackle most terrains. The battery is made up of nickel, manganese, and cobalt, can be charged with slow and fast chargers, and it also allows for regenerative braking to be implemented, making it more efficient. It uses a 400V architecture and provides approximately 250 miles of range. Standard features continue with front 18-inch wheels with off-road tires, removable rear window, the classic outside tire carrier, and a rear tow hook. Inside, the seats are upholstered in synthetic leather and offer heat functionality, as does the steering wheel, while a large dual-pane panoramic sunroof gives a sense of amplitude. A 12-inch instrument cluster comes standard along with a large 14.5-inch Uconnect NAV touchscreen that allows access to the sound system, 360 degrees camera, wireless apple carplay, and android auto settings. Safety features include trailer sway control, traffic sign information, Jeep's active driving assist which includes lane centering, active lane keeping, full speed forward collision plus, intersection collision assist system, drowsy driver detection, and pedestrian and cyclist emergency braking.
