The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS is offered in three distinct configurations. The base GLS450 features a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder turbocharged engine with a mild-hybrid system producing 375 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft of torque. The system includes an integrated starter-generator that contributes an additional 21 horsepower and 148 lb.-ft of torque for enhanced efficiency and performance. This powertrain accelerates the GLS450 from 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds.
The GLS580 steps up to a 4.0-liter V8 bi-turbo engine with the 48V mild-hybrid system, generating 510 horsepower and 538 lb.-ft of torque. The electric assist provides an additional 21 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft of torque, enabling a 0-60 mph time of 4.7 seconds. Both the GLS450 and GLS580 come equipped with a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive.
For performance enthusiasts, the AMG GLS63 features a handcrafted AMG 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine with hybrid assist, producing 603 horsepower and 627 lb.-ft of torque. The hybrid system adds 21 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft of torque. Paired with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9-speed automatic transmission and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, the GLS63 accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 4.1 seconds.
Standard equipment on the GLS450 includes AIRMATIC air suspension, 21-inch wheels, infotainment system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, heated and ventilated front seats, wireless smartphone integration, KEYLESS-GO, power liftgate, and ambient lighting with 64 colors. Interior flexibility is a key feature across all models with available 6 or 7-seat configurations. The standard 7-seat setup includes a fully electric second-row bench, while the optional 6-seat configuration features second-row captain's chairs with a center console.
The GLS580 adds 22-inch wheels, 5-zone climate control, heated second-row seats, soft-close doors, active multi-contour front seats with massage function, illuminated running boards, and metallic paint as standard.
The AMG GLS63 enhances the driving experience with AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension, AMG performance exhaust system, AMG high-performance braking system, 21-inch AMG wheels with high-performance summer tires, and distinctive AMG styling elements.
