The redesigned 2026 Subaru Outback is available exclusively with all-wheel drive and is available in six trim levels: Premium, Limited, Touring, Wilderness, Limited XT, and Touring XT. It offers a choice of two robust powertrains. Lower trims feature a standard naturally aspirated 2.5L engine, delivering 180 horsepower and 178 lb.-ft of torque. For enhanced performance in higher trims, an available 2.4L turbocharged engine boosts output to 260 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft of torque. Both engines are seamlessly paired with a responsive Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and Subaru's standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, ensuring confident handling in various conditions.
